basically i've been writing again but it's this kind of messy shit that's halfway between a blog post and an essay? idk it's what feels comfortable right now and i do want to post it somewhere at some point. i considered making a medium account or something similar, idk if people even use medium anymore, but either way it didn't feel like the right fit. those platforms feel a little too rigid. that's where writers go, or fake ones do anyway. not enough of a shitpost vibe.
tumblr is the most likely alternative to this, i do feel like i could make tumblr work, but idk. not quite right. certainly less work though. i think if i actually go through with writing stuff i will crosspost there (and many other places) but the nice thing about doing my own site is that it literally has no prior expectations or format.
